Tony shot for 2 hrs., 6 to 8 a.m.
with 16ga. He used 7 heavily loaded
(special dust). He killed 11 birds
with one shot.
Total results: 27 - 2 limits
adult ♀♀, and 25 sparrows; of
the latter there were 8 adult males,
4 adult females and 13 young of the
year.
Aug. 12.
Tony killed nine E. Sparrows
in three shots this A.M., of
6½ 8 a.m.
these there were 1 adult ♀, 4
jwv. ♂'s, 1 adult ♂; 2 jwv. ♂'s, and 1 ?
The latter was shot to pieces
and left in the field.
Aug. 13
Tony killed 3 sparrows with 4
shots. 2 m. ♂♂; 1 m. ♀.
6 to 8 a.m. "Very shy!"
