Part II - Eleusine - Sesuvium bare flat
light is W, S.W. - 1 prot. approx. 2mi.
from shack. Picture taken - south, east, and
north. (9:35 am.) have solid patcher of Eleusine
alternate in irregular patchwork fashion with
Sesuvium. The latter is not level and thick. Pat
how to be propped with stone - soils about 6-7in.
depth - hard coal rock beneath.
In bare mid southern portion of bowl - sand rocks
is exposed - here we find Potulaca and Sesuvium. Eleu-
sine confined to sandy, gravelly earth areas. looking partly
frows and crop-back eastern . Scattered pro. & bushi
on upper slopes of bowl - near slope for takeoff - mine is
lost these - in Sesuvium area. near shack clut of worked
bushes in Boerhavia - Sida - effective tangles of vegetation-
grown also probably is detrimental to plants.
in rise to east beach - Boerhavia, leptonera and
Potulaca - sandy soil, sparsely on top.

Potulaca, leptonera, Cucumis in first beach.
sandy soil.
indupression south end of island ; Sesuvium,
leptonera; Sida and Boerhavia along side;
on bare rock slopes - Guamia, Bromomy Potu-
laca.
