Pine Peaks, Vol., Conchagua, Dept, La Union Feb, 26, 1984 - March - 7, 1986. Peromyscus Hairy-tailed Peromyscus - This rare mouse was found in the grassy Sonoran zone in association with Sonoran Sigmodons. Because of millions of hungry ants I was able to take few skins. Nos. 11199, 11243, 11252 and 11254 were taken on the south mountain slope pasture land, where there were hundreds of large lava rocks in low dense brush. These specimens cought under lava rocks. No. 11260 was trapped on the top of one of the grassy knolls under a lava rock boulder, and No. 11204 was taken in a similar place but under a stone wall.
