Rio San Miguel, 13°25'N. Dept., San Miguel Feb., 2, 1926 - Feb., 21, 1926 Herpailurus Yagouarondi - Gato Nutria The one and only Gato Nutria added to my list at this camp, I found dead by a wild pineapple hedge not more than thirty feet from the waters of Rio San Miguel. The specimen was found on the opposite side of the hedge that bordered the old weedy bean patch on the south and along the edge of a melon patch. The cat was very lean. Its number is 11085. Natives at this locality frequently spoke of Gato Nutria.
