Rio San Miguel, 13°25'N, Dept., San Miguel Feb, 2, 1926 - Feb, 21, 1926 Blue-tailed Rat- Blue-tailed Rats were apparently rare in this locality since I had at least twenty five traps set for scamoid rats all the time. Three specimens were taken Nos. 11054 and 11114 and an immature that was eaten so badly by ants that I threw it away. These rats were caught on limbs of low trees in heavy brush. Most of the leaves on the trees and of the brush were dead while we were at our Rio San Miguel station.
