Rio San Miguel, 13°25'N. Sept., San Miguel Feb., 2, 1924 - Feb., 21, 1924 Hairy-tailed Rat- I was able to represent this rare species from this locality by only one specimen, No. 11045. It was caught in a large snap trap baited with oatmeal and set on a horizontal limb in some brush with a few vines. However the ants were there before me and I had to make a skeleton of it.
