Mt. Cacayualique
Nov, 21,-Dec., 23, 1926
Harvest mouse
young to take care of themselves. Nos.
1090♂ & 1090H were found by me in
deserted birds nest high upon the mountain
side near the Sonoran zone. The nest
was found in dense tangled brush

for coffee. I poked a stick into
the nest and the two ran out together
on the small twigs where I shot
them with a shot pistol. As for stomach
contents my notes record seeds, brown pulp,
—, empty, white starchy [illegible] substance,
