2005 2007 Waltor D Koenig Melanerpes formicaros Y H.N.H.R 12 May 1000. I opened this hole, in a small snag just next to The old Co. road ~100' up from the Y (tree is tagged #4905, 4906, +4907; snag is #4907). Contents: 1 rnut egg! I'm pretty sure this is a different group from Blompond, even though they're just across from Blompond (see map on back). 14 May 1400. Rnut egg is gone. Instead, now there are 2 normal eggs: ① 27.6 x 17.6 ② 28.9 x 18.0. 15 May 1245. Hole empty! Still tossing? 16 May 1130. Hole empty. 19 May 730. Hole empty. 24 May 1100. " "" 2007 7 May There does appear to be a group here; there are even a few stored acorns in the old magpie nest tree at the Y itself. Birds are hanging out here, in the Y sycamore and over in the trees going up toward the School House.
