Neil solved several mysteries here. First, these
birds do have a granary, it's the blue oak up
Red H?1 (tree#146)! There are a fair number of
stored acorns in it that I'd never noticed before.
Second, these birds do fly over the chaparral and
to the tree with the nest holes. Third, he ID'd
several of the birds
