(tag #5803) 1400. 5 eggs, 1 a (small!) rent. ① 25.8 × 19.1 ② 25.5 × 19.3 ③ 26.1 × 18.7 ④ 26.1 × 19.7 ⑤ 17.3 × 14.1 (!) (has a small hole in it, but otherwise it's intact). Eggs incubated. 18May 1500. Checked nest: 3 hatchlings, alive but- cold (!) Tried to get out as soon as I could but it may have been too late. 2June Catherine suggested about a week ago at least that the nest here had indeed failed, and today I finally checked it, finding it totally empty. 10August No stores. Plus, it appears that a major (the major?) storage limb has fallen, leaving not much in the way of storage facilities here. 2008 15May 1000. Checked nest (in hole #5803): 4 eggs, incubated.
