1600. Opened both the holes in the black oak
just to check - they're both empty, although
they could be used fairly easily.
26April
1200. Bird in the lower hole: 4 fresh eggs,
① 23.4 × 19.9 ② 23.7 × 19.4 ③ 23.4 × 19.4 ④ 23.5 × 18.6.
EFD ~ 6 May. Hole (now) tagged #911.

1145. Checked hole: 1 hatchling + 3 eggs.
Today is the day. Band ~ 23 May.

1400. Finally checked the nest again:
4 healthy kids.

Banded & bled the 4 kids. Stores: yes,
6 Sept.
No old stores here; only a couple new
green acorns.

#911. 3 babies ~ 4 do! Band ~ 29 May.

900. Banded and bled the 3 kids here - the
first of the season!

Checked both holes (#911 & 5556). Empty,
Usable.

1115. Whole limb w/ holes #911 & 5556 has
fallen in the last 2 weeks! Opened hole #911 - it
actually had 2 eggs (ACWO) in it, incubated.
Bummer - what will they do now? 1 egg
was smashed, the other buried & broken,
