The thin, 1st set is replaced, at this late date, with the "adult" set! 2005 30 March Opened the new hole way up in the (new) limb: empty! 12 April Checked the hole: still empty. 18 April Still empty. But They're still working on it. 29 April Still noone in a hole. But, there's a Starling in the hole They've used the last couple of years, which explains why they had to make a new one. 1200. Bird in hole this time: checked it: still empty!! 6 May 1330. Bird in hole. Checked it: still empty, but- a lot deeper than it was last time! 12 May 1100. Now using the hole 2' above The other one! Opened it: 4 eggs, ~2 dinc. (EHD ~ 21 May). Measured one: 24.3 x 19.1 mm. 23 May 1615. 4 kids, young (~1 do). Band ~6/12 11 June Banded & bled the 4 kids. Stores: definitely. 8 Sept. Quite a few old stored acorns here.
