Went up to the high hole over on the NW side of the tree that I opened last summer: 4 inc. eggs, EHD ~ 23 Apr?, band ~ 14 May. 10 May 1300. Banded & bled The 2 kids. Stores: Yes. 26 July 900. I'm not sure, but I think I saw a NOBA fledgling here. Shit. Missed another 2nd nest! 8 Sept. Lots of (old) acorns still stored here. 2006 May Starling going into the (known) 2005 hole 2007 2 May 1100. New hole in Westgate main trunk: now Tagged #215: 5 eggs (1 a runt), fresh: ① 28.3 × 20.4 ② 24.2 × 19.8 ③ 19.5 × 16.0 ④ 24.6 × 19.1 ⑤ 23.9 × 19.2. 15 May 1115. 5 babies, just hatched, plus 2 unhatched eggs (still could hatch) and 1 dead egg (broken with developed embryo). Apparently still laying back on the 2nd Total clutch was 8, probably plus the runt for 9 total! Ambusher set. 22 May 1315. Got 63423 (more or less by mistake). 1500. Got her! Now #4342. 4 June 900. Banded #640d the 7 kids! Plenty of stores.
