2002 Waldo D Koering 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 Bleutlirce Melanerpes fami civorus HINHR 9 May 1400. Bird in @2ap hole in traditional tree: 4 incubated eggs (band ~ 2 June ±). Odd thing: there was a pristine egg, almost certainly an ACWO egg, in some dead vegetation directly below the nest, as if it had fallen (or been tossed). 3 June 900. Banded the 1 kid! (#3H1). Still stores here. 2003 5 May 1730. Still stores here. Bird in The traditional hole: 2 eggs, fresh. (I don't think There were others, but it was hard to reach so I'm not positive.) Measured them: ① 24.7 × 18.9 ② 24.7 × 18.3. 29 May 1030. Checked nest: empty. Failed, I fear. S#71 acorns here. 19 June 1120. None in any of the holes. 2004 4 May No stores here. 2005 16 May 1345. Bird in one of The old holes (as used in 2003) 17 May 1800. 4 inc eggs here. Band ~ 6/10. 8 June 1630. Banded # 616d the 3 kids here. Stores: Yes. 2006 17 May 7015. Bird in traditional old hole: 4 fresh eggs - 14 June 900. Came to band, but hole empty - failed. 2007 7 May Bird in The same old hole. Flushed; no sounds,
