1100. Checked hole #8613 (tree 8404): empty.
23 May
1600. Checked the artificial hole: empty &
cleared out (no wood chips). Plenty of stores
here, however.
11 June
1020. None in the artificial hole. Plenty of
stores.
2010
2 May
1400. Still stores here. Birds over on far
side over across the canyon. Hole 682 on
the ground (I believe it fell some time ago).
8 May
1230. Checked the artificial cavity: a mouse
nest with lots of lichen and acorn pieces; cleared
out. None in any other holes. Lots of stores.
16 May
1030. Opened the new hole just down from the
granary, now tagged #4342 (in a big
BO Valley Oak (tagged 7388): 4 kids,
8-9 do (no eggs). Band ~ 29 Mar.
29 May
1300. Banded the 4 kids here. Plenty of stores
still.
