Lots of stores here, no sign of birds.
6 June
Sh! (stores; sh!) no sign of a nest.
9 June
1000. After 3 straight evenings roost-
watching up here I found The nest - it's
way over across the canyon on the Warner
side of Far Tortuga! Came up this morning
to open the hole, which had 3 kids
~23-24 days old. Now set up in case
it's not too late to ambush one of the
adults. Banded & Gled the 3 kids.
1015. 9 NOBA here. 8 is: 8 wh/8g/white. Both
scared to go in the hole, unfortunately.
1040. ! There are 2 NOBA 9F here. Still
scared to go back in the hole.
1115. Got one of the 9F! Now 4421.
10 June
900. Got The 2nd NOBA 9F! Hopefully That's
The lot of Them. Tree is tagged #8404 (by me);
hole is tagged #682.

1030. Bird in artificial hole: 5 eggs, not inc.
Old cavity (#682) has fallen, by the way.
8 May
1000. Checked nest: 3 kids, ~3-4 do, + 1 unhatched
egg (measurements: 25.2 x 19.5). Band ~ 25 May.
22 June
Plenty of stores here.
4 July
1800. Went up to the hole, flushing jica1m
Put him back up in the hole - not quite ready to fly yet.
