EHD~5/22. 7June 1600. Nest empty! Bummer. I think Neil did some kind of a watch here, but I'm going to get an ambush in hopes of getting them roosting. 19 June 1445. New nest, in hole way on top of the tree in a hole I can just barely reach. At least 3 eggs, freshish. Measured 1:25.2×19.9. EHD~29 June. (could have been 4) 23June Neil reports that the incubating & here is one of the 8's I caught at Chimmi! 5July 1400. Checked the hole: 1 kid, a good 10 do, + at least 1 unhatched egg. Time to get that &! Stores? Yes. 6July 1100. Got the &; then went ahead and banded the 1 kid even though he's still kind of young. 7Sept. A fair number of (old) stores here 2006 22June No stores left. Not much sign of anyone here, really, last year's hole fell prior to the spring.
