2008 2009 2010 Walter D Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Hay-Blem KINHR 2 May 930. Checked the nest: 7 eggs, fresh. Hole is tagged (89...?) and in The old nest tree in The limb with The old hole facing Soto Springs 2009 18 May 1030. Opened last year's hole (one of Eric's tags): 1 Fresh egg! Marked #1. 7 June 1400. Checked the nest: 2 kids, ~4 do, +4 unhatched but developed eggs. Band~25 June Kind of looks like they're out of acorns! 19 June 2005. Scared 2 birds out of The hole after which 3 Red/LB-WH #4302 came back and roosted. 25 June 1045. Banded the 1 surviving kid; a second dead one in The nest removed (kid been dead a day or two at least). 2010 3 April Hole 5806 (artificial) on tree #6331: 4 starling eggs. Hole cleared out and moved down to SOSP! 19 June 1430. Checked The old hole (889101) when Caroline reported feeding only to find 2 bandable kids! Theo 6324 (K210). Stores: Yes, some.
