2005 WalthD Yoeng Melanerpes formicivorus Middle long field 2 (toward 1500) HNHR 15 Jan Ambushed a new hole in the rotten limb this morning, getting 1 bird: #3923, a 3Y bird from Sch Hill Anney. Is she here with #3501? Seems unlikely, I'll have to try to find where the others are roosting here. There are stored acorns here. 22 Jan Ambushed the old MLF1 hole and got The NBOA♂ (now 84031) and The banded ♀, who isn't #3501 after all, but instead #3842, an old H-B kid! Probably not with #3923 anyway, I would guess. inv. thin dead limb 19 Apr 7 1400. Bird in new hole above where I ambushed on 15 Jan. (tree #1167, ♂ hole now tagged #907): 7 inc. eggs; ① 23.7×19.1 ②24.3×19.0 ③25.1×19.0 ④25.8×19.2 ⑤25.6×18.6 ⑥23.9 × 18.5 ⑦23.6×19.7. 24 Apr 7 1015. One of The cuts had fallen out! But - bird flew out when I called. Went up and checked: 3 hatchlings + 4 unhatched eggs. Today is the day. will have to check again to see how many hatch. Band ~ 15 May. 29 Apr 7 1000. 5 kids.
