35/8.5 36 Flying about the yard. They are quite quiet but are surely handsomely colored. I did a few of his tick tock -- puddulun tail movements for us but turned gave no note. We also saw the first Pigeon Owl. He looked in the field like our bird. He was very active and continually jumped around and wagged his tail. Our baggage came at noon and I started packing for tomorrow's trip. We are to have Mr. Taylor's room to work in at the farm and will live with the people there. The folks here are all very courteous and we have a couple of club invitations as well Newspaper publicity. Taylor says the Pres. sent a personal telecablegram to Mr. Dickey notifying him to come.
