32 Come down to the ocean. All the hills are covered with green grass. We left Acapulco at two after sending a telegram ashore by the 'paseo' to Mr. Taylor. Arrived in La Libertad at 2 P.M. that is the boat did. After much fooling around we got ashore at five. No documents or certificates of any sort were required. The Doctor was the only one we saw - and one look seemed to be enough. We received a telegram from Mr. Taylor's secretary, Mr. Panto, Telling us to call on reaching port, which I did felt too late. We left our stuff in the customs for the the night and looked for a hotel, but ran into some American U.C. men who had a machine ordered to go to Salvador. City we went along a shared expense at 4 colones - #2 each. One fellow previous had asked #7½ each of the unsuspecting tourists! We arrived in the city about 7 P.M. at the hotel
