150 at the nest. I was surprised to find so little lining in the nest. Other nests showed good lining of plant material and snake or lizard scales. This nest only had coarse sticks, which would seem rather hard on the small egg. The Egg is a clear green like but unlike a Wren tit's egg - Unspotted. I shot a Pectoralis Rivoli but as usual the pin feathers are drop out with in a few hours. All the Rivoli seem to do this. I also shot a fine Dichthium Rige in prime condition. Josi got me another Burd Kingfisher a male not yet in full man plumage. Aug 22 Sat. A last swarm on the marsh settled a couple of fresh Jacana sit and the same for the grebes. A very small percent of Jacanas now have eggs. One set I found was just hatching. The young when just out of the egg.
