148 Pachylova We saw nothing of the signs of the little lion got time like other day. I did however get a reptile eye about which there can be no question. We ran onto a pair of Cassins in a patch of bush along the main path. The birds were also among the banana plantation adjoining. Also the male was seen with food after Dad shot the female we could not track him to the nest. Jose brought in a young Nephroste Aug 21 Fri. Today we made the acquaintance of the Arched Ardea. They were fairly common on the Bandi region, passing thru in loose migratory bands and feeding on the various catc[illegible]. They have a note exactly like a Sumintor Red Wing. This is what attracted us to them in the first place. They also have a note somewhat like a [illegible] Hooded Coot
