He also brought a couple of King Vulture the got by a chained daily decoy. The Turkey and Black Vulture came down and then their pair, one an adult & the other as yet unsexed. The other King Vultures were floating round above. other vultures left for the Kings Aug 18 Time. There are still a few Goobaks left in the cornfield. I heard a pair chipping away on the cut over hill side and went to investigate. They seemed to be suspicious doe something so I watched collecting them. Soon the female stopped chipping and I flushed her at 20' from a clump where she had disappeared. The nest was in plain sight well up in a taller clumps of bushes. The next was of grass about the size of the Salt Blue Gooback nest. It was well built and deeply cupped. There were a few sticky webs over the outside like a Wood Pewee nest. The nest contained a set of Eggs about the size and color as would be expected. The same
