127 2 located one of the small Goldruch like thrashers, which is at least by the finals the same as the Snowyite bird. Swan Platon Eater was about and 'Shit' finally got one of the Gerhauks that frequents the Scarp. Aug 12 Wed. Again we made a try for the Rock Wrass. The trip to the first part of the Canyon was sweetful except for connecting with a male manakin in heavy molt. This bird is always calling in this thicket. Our scuts come up fairly well to imitation. I guess think they are strictly local and always stay in the same patch of low timber. Further up I stopped to hear a new note which by the description I heard from the other figures must be a Queen. The note is however not so great deal like a Calif. Ground Squirrel. Has the the double chip and same rhythm but quality quite.
