96 a very large Kingfisher from the floor of the house—the Ringed Kingfisher I saw a little Texas Kingfisher for the second time today. At evening the large Parrots fly into a large tree top on the east. They are often in this vicinity and are flying in pairs. I believe they have located in the vicinity of this large tree. Aug 1925 Sat We returned today to the marshes to look up a few things we missed before. On our arrival we flushed a large flock of Wood Ibis of which had got a young bird. Immediately upon leaving the open swath we saw a male Jacana with several young running along behind. As we approached he left the young in a certain spot and started bosky waving. The young were finally found—
