like some of the cactus were chatters. I saw a couple of pair of yellow green Vires and followed a tiny nest in the vicinity of the 1st pair but it looked rather old but may be building as the lining was laid or packed in so the just being adjusted. I got one of the Out-Shrike. later on - a female and saw a female very close to but could not shoot at that range. The male was a handsome black and white striped bird. In the woods I shot a female Cyanocompsa pavillina the same as "Ray" got a pair of yesterday or the day previous. There were many Night - Heron along the lake edge and 3 twice saw a small Kingfisher - Texas I presume. It had a characteristic Kingfisher rattle but very small and high pitched. Also saw and shot my first Lesser Sulphur-bellied but could not find him. Stutler came along and shot me a Red-billed Pigeon.
