the south mountains.
Mon. July 27
Spent the whole day in
the train to Alomega
where we expect to
stay for some time.
There are low mountains
about but no near
marshes. I don't know
how much we will
put up in the way
of water birds.
Tue July 28.
I had to loose the
day because of the sore
on my foot but the
folks found wherry
thing in the woods.
Out striking white venty
clove, and many other
things. There are Black-
billed tree ducks fly
emuants and tript
birds about.
