84 Fri July 24 Since we had to pack our stuff in the afternoon we made a hurried hunt this morning to pick up a few common things. However we did get a few new things. I got one of the little Black and White grass pints and shot a couple of small flycatchers one of which I know now to be the Shortlegged woodpecker. The Ground Dove nest of Baker had only one egg but I found another set of one so that the trip in the morning ought to be worthwhile. This pair have young birds about in the brush, but don't seem to pay much attention to them. Sat. July 25 Neither of the Ground Doves had laid by the time I had to make my trip out. But Both birds were sitting heavy however I found Still a
