of the cuckoo I heard Several times It is one I have heard several times before and been puzzled by it. I had flushed a yellowthroat from its nest with 4 piped eggs. The spots on the eggs were almost faded out. The set also seemed unusually large. Near by I found a set of Iowa Dove (see date). And up on the ridge shot a nice red Breany Owl -- mistaking it for a Robin thru the bushes. Also came on a pair of small Mot-horts squealing and chattering -- The first stage I have seen them flying around together. In skimming the cuckoo I noticed it had a fractured aspect like the Motnot thique. You telephoned today and said everything was OK and we had better come in got and go with him's for Elmer Bunn.
