76 straight along as they were migrating. There was no circling or turning but straight flying like a flock of ducks. They went quite high up and were fluttering considerably. This is the first time I have heard of any swift doing such a thing. July 21. Tue Thinking I had better look over some of the robin nests we found in the Coffee Grove we just went there. On the way we circled thru some pasture country and near a large stream course. Once again we heard the whistling little song but it was impossible to get to it. In the open both got one of the large Blue Languags. These Tanager both species seem to be lovers of the open country. Both nests of the small species were also in open isolated trees.
