landing at La Muni and will come up to San Salvador mm. Sun. July 19 We took our breakfast late today as we both had birds from ystiday to skin before breakfast. When I first got up I stepped down into the rour bottom and ran onto a cuckoo. It was down in the bushes and looked something like a young robin. It was a male finchew. Near by I flurked one of the white or yamrows from its nest with two fresh eags. It was a rather small nest well up in the bushes. The eggs were pau blue - unmarked. I shall leave the set to see if it is yet complete. After breakfast we hit for the same piece of dense woods we were in ystiday. On the way I shot a small dull gray bird that was feeding in the smelion clumps like a warbler
