landing at La Muni and will
come up to San Salvador
mm.
Sun. July 19
We took our breakfast
late today as we both
had birds from ystiday
to skin before breakfast.
When I first got up I
stepped down into the
rour bottom and ran onto
a cuckoo. It was down
in the bushes and looked
something like a young robin.
It was a male finchew.
Near by I flurked one
of the white or yamrows from
its nest with two fresh
eags. It was a rather
small nest well up in
the bushes. The eggs were
pau blue - unmarked.
I shall leave the set to
see if it is yet complete.
After breakfast we
hit for the same piece
of dense woods we were
in ystiday. On the
way I shot a small
dull gray bird that was
feeding in the smelion
clumps like a warbler
