Dad shot the first Bob white which I've seen every where in the forest, cultivated land and grassy bottoms. He not killing but the Bob white more than the bird. They are extremely hard to flush. The wild turkeys at the house tell us the nuthatches (Drygnese) nest in holes they dig in banks. They also tell us there are several kinds of the same. Every locality we go to, we find very effects and it looks as tho we would not get nearly all before the time is up.
