6327B - The hundred and
fifty feet or so of dark blue
thin shales of 6421 m, A, and
6327A are overlain by 50 to
100 ft. of very light gray
shales in which scattered
fossils may be observed but
which surely no means common.
Different species turn up at the
time and it is possible that a
very large fauna could be collected.
In an hour and a half or thereabouts
two were observed:
Camarotoechia common
Lingula (2 spp.) R.
Orbiculoidea O
Whitfieldella R.
Meristella bella K.
Nucula? (cf. Anodontopsis bullata, Gy) occas.
Cypricardinia of platyphyllus X ocas.
Goniophora (small R
Pterinea danbyi' (small) R.
Dalman(?) sp. R
Edmondia (flattish ?) R
Orthonota (short, high) occasional
Hypothes sp. common
? Chetetes p (? Dalmanella) occasional
Murchisonia (round whorled) R.
I think this may be above Schroner even more
