R Primitiopsis (Sstr. Jours 1887-8). R (smooth, of Aparachites but not anterior vertical partition). # This species is very variable. One variety has two dorsal tubercles with a pit between of the genus Ulrichia. In other forms these two tubercles may curve below into a simple horseshoe (= common type), or may be prolonged dorsally in erect spines like Aechmina. The horseshoe type also develops in old forms a faint vertical lobe fore and aft making a 4-lobed animal of Bollia or Tetradella.
