Fragments more conspicuous than glauconyate fragment mostly dull purple andesite-schistose Cut by 25 foot gables dike trending N. 32° E. Surface color normal, light width 170 feet 4 & Acid Buffs of a dull red-purple forming resisting edges of dark classic looking surface. Fragments smaller dark red purple matrix a duller red purple frequently the stuff no mottled greenish dull red purple commonly there are no feldspar phenocrysts at all width 620 5' Gray basic looking buffs with occasional light pink look and fragment. Matrix mauve gray fragments commonly divided between close of sample color or darker gray. Pink fragments rare. Width 330 feet exposed trending 4° E - nearly to river.
