1.3.9 Peruamaquon Lake, S, About 300 yards N.W. of the Bridge there occur in the hill side S. of the road some purple shales & brown phylitic mudst. striking N 60° W. dipping 30° N. E.: they contain an abun- dance of casts of Leperditia, or rather what appears to be Leperditia but these seen on all surfaces do not show any organic nature & are more totally small mud balls = 1.3.9 A
