Leperditia (figs over.) Abundant. L. hisingeri Selms., var. " L. " of angustifera Whitf. Occas. L. of hudsonica Hall. " note 1. The anterior & posterior lobes are isolated; they do not meet below, the 2 middle lobes are equal and their lower ends curve and meet below forming a horseshoe the base of which appears to be swollen into a tubercle. The loose slice is quite distinct from the anterior & posterior lobes. Also same form also occurs at 3.44.4 A. note 2. The commonest species (see figs 1,4) a low form like L. alta with fuller front than L. hisingeri. It is not so tall as L. alta. It is probably L. hisingeri Selms., var. A second form represented by figures 5&6 is a very tall species nearest to L. hudsonica Hall also not quite identical also similar to L. cæca Jones, but not so flat in front. fig 3 represents the L. angustifera Whitfield type, which is swollen ventro-posteriorly. This is probably merely the mature female.
