137 9,2:3 6 On the east shore of Smith Bay opposite Davis Point occur some gray & black shales alutting over coarse intrusive diabase. The shales strike N42°E are turned up on edge and are perpendicularly slickensided. No fossils occur. The diabase shows no distortion nor other evidence of undue disturbance.
