Immediately overlying the purple lassic & jurasic are 150 feet of dark blue thin shales a couple of feet immediately over the jurassic contain a few rugose corals and Favorites together with 6.42./M the latter occurring through the basal 20 ft. of shales and including Dalmarella common Whitfieldella very common Camarotoechia occasional Lingula rare Orbiculoidea rare Actinopterella occasional. --------------------------------- 6.42./A. In the hundred & thirty or more feet of thin dark blue shales above M, fossils are very rare. 6.42./A in the lower part of the shales was found a round whorled Murchisonia & an Orthoceras 6. 73.7 A.
