10 1.43.4 A SL 1.43.4 A On the road near the east edge of 1.43.4 crops out a highly Amygdaloidal trap. This does not again show to the north, but the ridge under which it is presumed to be may be followed for 100 ft + N 15° W up to the bend of the brook where at one point amygd- aloidal trap boulders are exceed- ingly abundant. Between this ridge and the brook, about 100 yds. North of the house of Mr. [illegible] there occurs about 70 yds. East of the trap (?) ridge an exposure of gray shales one seam of which contains Platyschisma common murchisona sp. acavi. ostreocods of Dilobella " Gastrop zone 1.43.4 A
