Horistoma sp Tentaculites sp rare rare The f[illegible]ferous rocks underly light-gray fine grained tuffs which compose the lower buff of Birmingham Mt. on the west side: at about 150 A.T. these rocks are over laid by acid looking fragmental tuffs (specimen 5-51.5 [3]) while the top on the west side is composed of loose tuff. Along the east of the mountain there is an exposed step 170 ft broad trending with the strike N 35° W. (dp 30° N.E.) and apparently indicating shale. The rocks on the east side of the mountain are loose tuffs. Specimen from the hill top = 5-51.5 [1]
