75 533.9 Race Point of the tip points forming the south part of Race Point, the western out shows outcrops of gray & grayish-blue shale on the southwest & south sides, sup- ported by a couple of miles of and plunging N40°E., which form the extreme S.E. tip of the point. Work of clay by the shales strike N. 28° W. and dry 33° E. N.E. They contain Dalmarella Stenoscisma Wilsonia rare occasional "" One very fossiliferous seam contains: Dalmarella (remnants) Spirifer crispa (Euell) abundant Atrypa retic. podder coarse & Almondont large/ Crinoid joints (large) common On the south side of the point, the shales strike N 55° W. for a short space.
