Binder and holes in leaves, each Patented 1906 July 6, 1908 Forming the west shore of the Cove to East of the Cliffs 5.33.8 B. of Mr. ---- are a series of Exposures of this gray shale only slightly splintered and containing an abundance of fossils. The shale strikes N. 12° W° and dip 33° E. About 60 ft. are exposed The fossils occur in seams and (?) of "Chonetes V Planus" cervia (?) stenocerna (3) Paracycles. Paracyclus is common throughout the fauna included: Lingula 2 spp rare Orbiculoida 2 spp rare Leptostrophia 2-3 spp rare Leptena rhomboidalis common Chonetes novascoticus rarer Ch "cornuta" abundant Dalmanella sp. occasional Steposcerma (?) plechra abundant Wilsonia wilsoni occasional Retzia barranderi rare Spirifer crispus occasional A Cleidopora ovatus Sui Crinim
