- 175. Over this are 20 feet of very much crumpled shale immediately under the gabbro. 100 feet or more of shales are exposed south of and under 174.
These shales are sparsely fossiliferous. A seam in the gray shale about 20 ft. be- low 174 contains a few Beyrichia=
- 2537 B and 12 ft. below this is another seam containing specimens of Camarotcehre sp., together with Choristes dorysi, Orrenusul Craniyusis ringulata or Pholidops Tentaculites
