15 June
1530. Banded and bled the 2 babies here (who are still
amazingly thin but could make it) as #697 and 698.
Also counted stores: somehow, they still have at least
150 acorns in the outside tree here.
1 July
800. Opened the nest hole - there's a lot of dried crap inside,
but no sign of the babies, so I presume they fledged.
2 August
Purge: 3 unbanded: Last seen 7 April, gone by
14 May → Disappeared about 26 April ± 2 wks.
16 August
1000. There are, incredibly enough, a few acorns left here.
