Watched roosting here, but after checking the holes (at 1920) I didn't see or hear a thing! 26 May 1550. Watching. None in any holes. 1635. A bird flew up the hill and landed near me, then flew off toward Keep Out. He/she did not look at ease. The bands were ? BP-? / M ; possibly this is 8583 from here, but I doubt it. Leaving for now. Over in the side area (toward Fanny Arnold above Keep Out) was a banded ♀ (♀ wn/or ...?) but otherwise zilch. 1 July 830.
