Side area: 712 I also took a sample of 50 acorns for my own devious purposes. I did not see any signs of birds while I was here. 18 February 1710. 8 LG/DB #546 flushed from near Bianca knoll area (upper part, near LA2) to the corral as I was going over to LA2. 7 April See Bianca notes for details of pack behaviour and a mounting involving 8102, 8426, 8427, and 1 other bird. (apparently 8321). 14 April 1130. Counted stores: Central area: 2834) 3244 Side area: 410 These birds are obviously in good shape, and have used hardly any of their stores all winter. 22 April 1700. Bird in the '80 nest hole. Could finally be it. 11 May 1245. Well: after all these years, 8320 has apparently decided to breed - they have 8 eggs here! 21 May 1500. Made it up to see what hatched here and found 4 babies, one of whom was cold and dead, and 3 unhatched eggs. All 4 of the babies were on the order of 6 days old. 28 May 1945.
