Road 1 Hastings Reservation
18 May 1933. 3486 (well, a ♂ with a m band on his left leg,
anyway) roosted in the nest. Not an easy group to get-
in fact it would definitely have been hopeless without
a flashlight.
28 May We did an all-day watch here today - my shift was
1400-1700.
29 May 1730. Banded and bled the 4 babies, who are now #670-673.
1000. Counted stores: Main tree: 1105 7 1119
Others: 14 }
2 August Purge: j670. Not seen after banding on 29 May.
17 August 900. Still a fair number of stores here - certainly several
hundred at least.
