1981 Walter D. Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Warp 5 (2 August) are a real problem, at least in regards to the connection between this group and Arf, too. All of them are no longer present here; the captures of them go as follows: 24 July 1980: 8628, 8629, 8630, 8631 (at Warp 5) 28 Dec. 1980: 8629, 8633, 8634, 8635 (" " " ) 4 Jan. 1981: 8528 (an oldy); 8634, 8635, 8636 (at Arf, too). As of now, 8528, 8629, 8636 are now at Warp 5; 8635 is at Arf, too. All others are gone. In lieu of really speculating as to what happened here: 8628: Not seen here after 24 July 80. 8629: Still here, a breeder. 8630: Not seen here after 24 July 80. 8631: " " " " 8633: Not seen here after 28 Dec. 1980. Seen by Ron at Lower Haystack 8 April 1981; Not seen here after 28 Dec. 1980, probably emigrated. 8634. Unclear where he came from or what he was doing. Not seen here after 4 Jan 81 (actually at Arf, too). 8635. Now at Arf, too. Not seen here after 28 Dec. 80.
